Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has boosted its high yield capabilities with the hire of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett counsel Gil Strauss.
Strauss, whose practice focuses on US corporate finance and securities, will join Freshfields in the City as an equity partner in September.
