Scots heavyweight McGrigors has confirmed that it is actively seeking a City merger.
The firm is already speaking to a number of potential candidates, but managing partner Richard Masters, who took over from 1 April, told Legal Week that he would like an “acquisition” rather than a merger, with the ideal candidate being a small boutique.
