BT has appointed former Cable & Wireless legal chief Daniel Fitz as its new group general counsel, replacing Anne Fletcher in the role. Fitz, who will join BT at the end of March, was executive vice president, general counsel and company secretary at technology firm Misys from 2003 to 2009, before which he spent 12 years at Cable & Wireless in a number of roles, including group general counsel.
