Two of Italy’s top law firms, BonelliErede and Lombardi e Associati, have announced they plan to merge.
BonelliErede, Slaughter and May’s Italian best friend firm, will take on about 70 legal professionals, including 21 partners, from Lombardi e Associati from July 1. Only 10 of the partners will retain the partner rank in their new firm, which will have 750 people and be the largest in Italy.
