Macfarlanes' PEP soars to record levels as revenue climbs 20%

PEP climbs to £1.74m after strong financial year

Macfarlanes has posted a 20% increase in turnover for the 2017-18 financial year, as average profit per equity partner (PEP) soared to a new record high of £1.74m.

The elite City firm brought in revenue of £201.56m during the last financial year, up from £167.6m in 2016-17, with PEP leaping 25.6% to £1.74m from £1.39m. Operating profit climbed just under 25% to £107m.
