RBS puts firms on notice for panel review as Freshfields advises on £2.5bn share sale

Bank tells advisers it will kick off formal review of legal panel in coming months

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is set to kick off a review of its legal advisers, with the bank informing firms that the process will get underway in the coming months.

Firms were told last month that a full review of the bank’s main group and UK legal rosters will begin shortly, with RBS expecting to complete the process by the end of the year.
