CMS dismisses Singapore managing partner and reports matter to SRA

Firm cites 'serious sensitivities' and picks corporate partner to take over as Singapore head

CMS has dismissed Singapore managing partner Andrew Stott and reported the circumstances of his departure to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).

The decision to dismiss Stott was made following recommendations by CMS senior partner Penelope Warne and managing partner Stephen Millar, and was unanimously approved by the firm’s 20-partner board.
