City lawyers on balance support the Law Society’s campaign against controversial legal aid reforms, but a large swathe of the commercial fraternity has yet to be convinced.
The latest Legal Week/EJ Legal Big Question survey asked more than 100 top lawyers across the City whether they supported Chancery Lane’s campaign against the sweeping legal aid reforms recommended last year under the Carter review.
