My Home Move collected the future of legal services award for streamlining the exchanging and completing process when buying a property.

By developing an online case-management platform that allows clients to track the progress of their home move directly from a smartphone app, it has vastly improved the customer experience of conveyancing. During the past 12 months, the firm has enhanced the service, adding case allocation software that ensures the type of transaction is matched with the most skilled lawyer for the job, as well as other features such as completion tracking that gives clients updated estimates of their expected completion date (allowing them to better plan their move). The service makes the conveyancing process much more efficient, with completion times three times quicker than the national average, according to YouGov research. The technology also allows lawyers to work on up to 100 cases at any time, giving the firm the capacity to scale the business and meet growing demand.

“Good combination of transactional legal services being provided via an app but maintaining direct personal contact to your allocated lawyer. Especially helpful as it is available to the ‘average person’ and makes a tedious legal process much faster and easier,” said a judge.
