Legal Week launches new interactive iPad app

Legal Week has launched a new version of its iPad app featuring a fully interactive format for the leading weekly magazine.

For the first time, the app is also linked to Legal Week subscriptions, so subscribers to the magazine can download the app and read weekly issues at no extra cost.

Legal Week launched its iPad app in November to coincide with the publication of the autumn edition of the Legal Week Student supplement.

The launch of the weekly iPad edition of Legal Week provides subscribers with the option of reading Legal Week in a user-friendly digital format which takes full advantage of the capabilities of Apple’s hugely popular tablet device.

“We know that more and more of our readers are accessing via iPad apps,” said Legal Week’s publisher, John Malpas. “So it is a logical step to publish Legal Week as an app. More than a thousand people have already downloaded the iPad app, and now access to the weekly magazine is linked to subscriptions we expect this number to increase dramatically.”

All individual subscribers and trialists can now access the Legal Week iPad app as part of their subscription package using their same login details for accessing

The app will also be offered as part of Legal Week’s partnership club law firm subscription package. More than 60 law firms, including most of the Legal Week Top 50 have group subscriptions to Legal Week.
