Simmons & Simmons, SJ Berwin, Jones Day and Paul Hastings have become the latest firms to take on teams of lawyers from Dewey & LeBoeuf, as the exodus from the faltering US giant continues.

Simmons and SJ Berwin have both picked up lawyers from Dewey’s Frankfurt base, with Simmons hiring a seven-lawyer team, including three partners – corporate partner Volker Holl, tax partner Bernulph von Crailsheim and energy-focused corporate finance partner Jochen Terpitz.
