Dewey & LeBoeuf’s firmwide management has issued a memo telling its remaining partners that they are under no obligation to stick with the firm in its current state, reports The Am Law Daily.

The message states: “The [executive committee (EC) and office of the chairman (OC)] have determined that, given the current situation, the priority of the firm should be to help partners to find the best opportunities for their clients, the firm’s employees, and themselves.
