Weil Gotshal & Manges has secured a dramatic boost to its competition practice after hiring a team led by Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) global antitrust chief and sole US super-plateau partner Steven Newborn.
As exclusively revealed on www.legalweek.net (16 October), Newborn and a team of fellow partners, John Scribner, James Egan and Laura Wilkinson, are to move to Weil Gotshal’s 14-partner Washington DC arm this week.
