Lovells has teamed up with US firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton to advise on the creation of the world’s second-largest brewing conglomerate – at the same time closing one of the UK’s biggest M&A deals so far this year.
London Stock Exchange (LSE)-listed South African Breweries’ (SAB’s) £3.84bn acquisition of US-based Miller Brewing Company saw Lovells deploy 66 of its lawyers from 10 of the firm’s offices, across 12 different practice areas.
