Legal Week has attracted more than 1,000 members to its LinkedIn group for in-house lawyers, making it one of the largest online networking groups for lawyers in the world.
The group, which was set up in April this year, was established to enable lawyers with an interest in the in-house world to exchange information and forge working relationships on the popular business networking site.
Around 2,000 individuals have requested membership of the group, which is currently restricted to in-house lawyers.
Members include lawyers from JP Morgan, Dubai International Capital, Virgin, Nomura, UBS, 3i, Diageo, Carillion, Chevron, Barclays, IBM, the Financial Services Authority, Rolls Royce, DP World, Nakheel, Citigroup, Royal Bank of Scotland, BT, Novartis and British Airways.
The group, which has since been expanded to include jobs, features links to the latest in-house news stories, features and analysis from Legal Week and its US sister titles, alongside discussion boards which are open to all members.
Legal Week is set to unveil additional features and benefits for members of the group shortly.
