Cripps to go live with extranet

Author: Legal IT staff

17 Aug 2001 | 16:37

Cripps Harries Hall is expected to go live with its first client extranet system in October.

The move is part of a broad initiative to improve the firm's IT systems following the arrival of IT director Tanya Collett from Lovells in the spring.

The extranet system will at first be used mainly for commercial property transactions and is understood to be similar to the system Collett designed last year for one of Lovells' biggest property clients, Prudential.

It will enable Cripps clients to request and view property deeds held by the firm over the internet.

The Tunbridge Wells-based firm will also launch a new website in the autumn.
