Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently an experienced Employment Solicitor on behalf of a Legal 500 Regional firm based in East Sussex.

This position would ideally suit an experienced employment Solicitor with a minimum of 2 + years post qualifying U.K experience wishing to cement a prosperous long term career within a renowned Regional firm. The successful applicant will be dealing with a mixture of high quality contentious and non-contentious employment matters on behalf of a diverse range clientele from industries and commercial sectors such as fashion, telecommunications, public relations etc.

The successful candidate will be working alongside a well-respected employment partner with an exceptional reputation. You will be given first-rate development opportunities which will combine the perfect balance between supervision and autonomy, which in turn will ensure you will continue to evolve and develop within the firm’s strategic growth plans.

The successful applicant will have:

* At least 2-3 years post qualification experience
* Excellent knowledge of Employment Law and related procedural requirements
* Ability to undertake a wide variety of Employment work with a solid background in contentious and non contentious work.
* In particular, excellent employment tribunal skills and the ability to provide legal, technical and practical advice of the highest quality to companies are essential.
* Excellent IT skills
* Proven marketing experience e.g. involvement in referrer/client events/networking lunches


Duties include:

* Providing end to end legal, technical and practical skills to the highest quality on Employment transactions handled
* Assist with and deliver seminars on specialist subject
* Ability to assist with marketing events
* To undertake any other duties which from time to time may be allocated


Salary: Negotiable depending upon previous experience
