DLA Piper's national Employment, Pensions & Benefits (EP&B) team of over 90 lawyers and consultants is one of the largest in the UK with further resources extending across all major jurisdictions globally. Internationally, the group has over 250 specialist lawyers with extensive experience in handling complex, politically sensitive employment-related matters, including multi-jurisdictional collective and class actions.
We are now seeking an additional dynamic and ambitious Employment assistant solicitor for our Leeds office. The team offers a 'one-stop-shop' for all employment and HR issues including disciplinary issues, termination of employment, breaches of covenant, industrial tribunals, injunctions, contracts of employment, service agreements, TUPE issues and corporate support work. We are focused on supporting clients in the management and reorganisation of their people resource. For contentious matters, we deliver our own advocacy at employment tribunal level and support clients in the management of claims in line with their cultural goals. The successful candidate will have an excellent academic profile and experience from one of the top City or regional firms. In addition, candidates must be strong team-players and prepared to travel as required.
