On behalf of this exclusive double branched legal 500 law firm, Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor with a diverse level of experience to take control of the firm’s Family Law department.

Due to the recent retirement of the family law head, this opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to assume responsibility for undertaking all existing work and to further develop and promote this department in line with the firm’s strategic plans of growth. With client referrals assured, this progressive forward thinking legal 500 law firm requires a Solicitor with 5+ years pqe to head up a small team to manage and promote the dept with the assistance of the firm’s business development manager.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will be based from both the firm’s Slough and London offices and will be required to visit both locations when the need arises.

Prospective applicants must be enthusiastic, forward-thinking Solicitors with demonstrable experience in assisting the development of a similar department.

This is an important appointment for this very well established law firm as this yet to be fully developed department will certainly bring very healthy financial rewards for the right professional who can utilise his or her experience and skills to make this division a success.

Role

The successful applicant will be required to:

* Take responsibility of the management of the Family division
* Manage your own caseload with a full range of Family law cases.
* Handle files from initial instruction through to completion
* Have a proactive approach to obtaining new work and promoting the services of the department and firm.

Candidate

* A minimum of 5 years UK Family Law experience.
* Provable team or department management experience
* Proven experience in marketing department services.

Salary - Up to £80,000pa + a healthy Bonuses + Benefits. (Package will depend upon experience and could be more for a partner level applicant)

Start Date - ASAP
