Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking a Litigation Solicitor with a minimum 4+ years PQE in Commercial Litigation on behalf of our highly prestigious client in East Sussex.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 4+ years PQE in Commercial Litigation including; contractual and financial claims, construction, leasehold disputes, insolvency, including acting for office-holders, intellectual property claims, property and property related claims, “white collar crime” including driving offences, health & safety, town planning and environmental. A good grounding in contract, property and leasehold dispute law is needed, and ideally the candidate will have significant experience in one or more of the other specific areas mentioned. To succeed in this role, the applicant should be committed to providing a high quality professional service and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Role:

* Managing a full and varied caseload of Commercial Litigation cases
* Helping to supervise a junior assistant, managing secretarial staff, helping to prepare team business plans, and assisting the firm in driving the business forward generally
* managing financial targets, billing, fee collection and file administration,
* Taking an active role in appropriate business and networking organisations to promote & develop the firm’s commercial litigation services. This includes Eurojuris International, which runs many events in other parts of Europe.
* Assisting the team head in developing and expanding the workload of the team, and participating in marketing and business development activities
* Fluency in a major European language, in addition to English, would be a definite advantage.
