We are looking for Practice Managers and Practice Directors.

Our client is a Legal 500 firm with a reputation for excellence in the profession throughout the South East.

The partners are now looking for a Practice Director to take over upon the retirement of the present incumbent who has enjoyed a very successful and rewarding career with the firm.

The Practice Director will report to the Senior Partner and be responsible for the day to day running of the business. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of non legal professionals covering Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, IT and Office Management.

Candidates will have a recognised accounting qualification, preferably a Chartered or Certified Accountant and a proven track record of success in a law firm with not less than 10 partners.
Experience will include:

* a high level of experience in using IT systems to maximise efficiency and profitability
* managing the transfer of a Partnership to a Company or LLP
* Business planning
* Compliance
* Risk Management
* Services to Partners

The successful candidate will already be a Practice Director or a Deputy in a larger regional or West firm who now feels able and experienced enough to take on the lead role.

Candidates should have trained with a UK law firm or have gained experience working as a fee earner in a UK firm.
