The Public International Law team, part of the firm's International Dispute Resolution practice group, is widely recognized as a market leader. They are one of the few firms in the world to employ a discrete team of specialist lawyers advising sovereign state and multilateral corporate clients on all aspects of public international law. Work includes advising on issues as diverse as international investment law; land and maritime boundary disputes; transboundary pipeline projects; sovereign immunity; trade sanctions and human rights.
A unique opportunity has arisen to join this group. The successful candidate will be a valued member of a dedicated team that is actively engaged in advising clients in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia. He or she will be exposed to outstanding client work and will play an integral role in business development activities alongside senior lawyers.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with relevant academic or practical experience for this role. Candidates will be from a leading arbitration practice and will have studied public international law, whether at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. In addition, candidates should be energetic and highly motivated to succed in this challenging area of legal practice. Fluent, business-level Spanish would be an advantage but is not essential.
