We would be interested in seeing details of candidates who can fulfil the following:

- Provide clients (increasingly international clients) with strategic advice relating to the development/expansion of their trading activities, either in terms of inward investment (coming to the UK from EMEA or the US) or expansion of their UK business into new geographic markets in EMEA or the US, for example
- International trade, for example putting in place pan European sales, distribution or procurement arrangements, off shoring of manufacturing operations or the establishment of service centres in low cost territories
- Project management of multi-jurisdictional projects and transactions
- Joint Ventures
- Large or complex bespoke commercial contracts
- Management and conduct of transactional support for other groups including Finance & Projects, Corporate or Real Estate; and
- co-ordinating the allocation of commercial contracts work to other members of the Commercial Group in regional offices and supervising that work to ensure that work is performed in a cost effective way to the required standards and quality.

In view of our other plans we feel that this candidate will probably be from private practice, have a well rounded commercial experience, have some management experience, in particular in terms of managing people and co-ordinating teams in multiple jurisdictions and ideally will have a following of somewhere in the region of £300K to £500K per annum initially.
