Simmons, Reed Smith, Norton Rose, White & Case and Allen & Overy (A&O) have all been given places on the panel, which provides legal advice on issues relating to the financing of new Airbus aircraft.
Simmons and Reed Smith are new additions — replacing Lovells and Denton Wilde Sapte, which both missed out during the recent review — while the other three retain their existing places.

The appointments come after it emerged that Clifford Chance (CC) is advising Airbus owner EADS on proceedings brought against the company and some of its directors by the French Autorite des Marches Financiers (AMF) for alleged breach of market information duties and for breach of insider trading rules.
