Withers has announced its internal partner promotions for the coming year, with London landing the majority of the nine new partners.
Of the nine promotions, London receives five, against four in the US. The five new London partners come across three practice groups – corporate, wealth planning and family. Meanwhile, all four new partners made up in the US work in the wealth management team. Two are made up in Greenwich, with one apiece in New York and New Haven.
European offices in Geneva and Milan missed out this year. The promotions mean Withers now has 103 partners across its six offices.
Commenting on the news, Withers chairman Anthony Indaimo said: “These promotions reflect our commitment to investing in talent across our office network as our private client and commercial practices continue to expand. This is a key priority when advising the globally wealthy who have family, business and charitable interests around the world.”
The promotions reflect Withers' strong emphasis on private client work. The firm says its clients include more than 15% of the UK’s wealthiest citizens, based on the Sunday Times Rich List.
