Taylor Wessing has appointed Herbert Smith senior associate Steven Kempster as a partner in its private client practice. Kempster specialises in handling major contentious trusts and estates matters in the UK and offshore jurisdictions, which the firm says are increasingly active at present. Head of private client Mark Buzzoni said: “We are delighted to have somebody of Steven’s calibre joining our team.”
