Stephenson Harwood has bagged Fox Williams partner Anne Pritam to boost its employment practice.

Pritam will join Stephenson Harwood’s employment and pensions group as a partner on 1 January.

At Fox Williams, Pritam focused on the discrimination aspects of partnership disputes. She has acted for clients in the Employment Tribunal, the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.

Pritam is an elected member of the management committee of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and chair of its training committee.

The hire is one of several that the 83-partner firm has made in the last year. In August, the City firm bagged CMS Cameron McKenna aviation finance partner Paul Richardson, as well as taking on former Tarlo Lyons property partners Andrew Taylor and John Hargreaves earlier in the year.

The firm is also on a drive to boost its exposure to the India and China markets, recently hiring Reed Smith partner Vinay Ganga and partner Pawan Sharma from corporate boutique Grundberg Mocatta Rakison.
