Baldwin, who joined Cadwalader as a partner in the US firm’s London office in 2005, has acted for big-name clients including Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers and Blue Bay Asset Management.

The appointment comes in the same month as Jones Day promoted four new partners in
