Halliwells taps rival for property finance team

Halliwells has bolstered its property finance offering with the hire of a five-lawyer team from national rival Cobbetts. The team, which is headed by partner George MacMillan, comprises partner Margaret Norton, associates Claire Hamilton and Alison Kellett and solicitor Katie Ridehalgh. The move will see the team work closely with Halliwells banking and real estate heads Richard Capper and Mike Edge respectively.
