McGrigors’ fledgling Manchester office has bagged its first lateral hire, bringing in projects partner Nick Ogden from Addleshaw Goddard.

Ogden joined the office, which opened at the beginning of the year, last month (17 March), becoming the second partner alongside construction partner Peter Blackmore.

He specialises in joint ventures, infrastructure, waste and energy projects and will work closely with the firm’s banking, and energy and infrastructure teams.

The move sees Ogden leaving Addleshaws’ projects group after just two years. He joined the firm in early 2006 from DLA Piper, where he was responsible for setting up the Manchester commercial and projects practice for the firm.

Commenting on Ogden’s hire, Blackmore said: “Nick seemed the perfect fit as we continue to build our new office.”
