Hill Dickinson is one of a trio of UK firms to win high-profile appointments on two new Law Society legal panels. The northwest giant landed the roles on Chancery Lane’s new-look employment and property rosters after seeing off competition from more than 60 firms in a formal tender process carried out earlier this year.
East Anglia-based firm Mills & Reeve will sit alongside Hill Dickinson on the employment panel, while London firm Bircham Dyson Bell joins Hill Dickinson on the new property line-up.
The appointments, which took effect last month and carry three-year terms, follow a review overseen by Chancery Lane’s head of legal services,
Anthony Brooks. Employment partner Rob Coward and joint property chief David Swaffield will head the respective contact teams for Hill Dickinson, with partner Paul Walton overseeing the firm’s relationship with the Law Society as a whole.
Hill Dickinson senior partner Tony Wilson said: "The Law Society has been positioning itself for the impact of the post-Clementi era. We are proud to be part of [it] at this time."
