McDermott Will & Emery has become one of the first US firms to announce its associate bonus package. Associates will receive a portion of their annual bonuses in December and the remainder in January. Those who qualified in 2006 and 2007 will receive $10,000 (£6,700) while 2004 and 2005 associates will get a $15,000 (£10,000) bonus. All associates with more experience will receive $20,000 (£13,400).
