The turnover figure puts Field Fisher £13m up on the target set out in its three-year strategy drawn up in November 2004, with the firm having initially aimed for fee income of £75m in 2008.

Following the latest results, Field Fisher has drawn up a new strategy that aims to more than double fee revenue by 2012 to £200m. The firm is hoping to increase the proportion of its revenue accrued from international work from 40% to 50% over the same period.
