Lawrence Graham has re-branded as ‘LG’ as it moves to shake up its image following its relocation to new office space in More London.

While the limited liability partnership firm will not change its official name, the re-brand means the firm will use the LG brand in all its dealings with clients and the outside world. Its website will now be www.lg-legal.com.

Commenting on the change, managing partner Penny Francis said: “Our move to LG is a reflection of our modern business approach and our clear, plain-speaking way of working with our clients and each other.”

The re-brand comes shortly after Nabarro Nathanson re-branded in February, becoming ‘Nabarro’ and adopting the slogan ‘Clarity matters’. Like Nabarro, LG said clients had always shortened its name to the new form anyway.

The change is latest name-shortening by a UK firm. Last year DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary shortened its name to DLA Piper, while Ashurst Morris Crisp changed its name to Ashurst in 2003.
