The firm has spent £10m over several years developing the project management system inspired by its relationship with long-term client DuPont. The system, which Eversheds claims is unique in the legal sector, draws on trials of its ‘DealTrack’ and ‘RAPID Resolution’ systems, respectively for corporate and litigation.
The model, which Eversheds says it has already trained 4,000 of its staff to use, draws on specially-designed IT, documents and a centralised project management regime aimed at large clients.
The firm claims the system, which will be rolled out this year, will boost transparency and predictability of costs for major clients, as well as improving its ability to hit agreed deadlines.

Eversheds chief executive David Gray said: “This approach means our teams know at the outset what resources will be involved and how much that work will cost.”
