Firm to lead independent review amid SRA scrutiny over alleged sex assault by partner

Baker McKenzie has turned to Simmons & Simmons to lead a review of its response to a historic sexual assault allegation, amid intense scrutiny over the firm’s handling of the incident.

The firm – which has been asked to provide information about the episode to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) – announced earlier this month that it would commission an independent review of its response to the incident, which occurred several years ago.
